Independent study regarding the effectiveness of Metabolic Balance

The Journal of Nutrition and Metabolism published a study that showed that the Metabolic Balance program is an extremely effective weight loss program.

The study was carried out in conjunction with the Department of Quality Management and Social Medicine of the Medical Centre of the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, Germany. The results of the study clearly show that with Metabolic Balance, overweight people can effectively reduce their weight and maintain the weight loss in the long term.

Sustainable improvement of quality of life

According to the Institute of Medicine, long-term success on a diet program for weight loss means that your original body weight must be reduced by at least 5%, and that weight loss must be maintained for at least a year.

Amazingly, 62.5% of the participants on the Metabolic Balance program had achieved that 5% goal for that year, while 31.1% of the participants had even reduced their weight by 10% of their initial body weight for more than a year. When compared to results from another weight loss program study, only 50% of the participants achieved the 5% target weight loss, while only 20% of the participants lost at least 10% of their weight.

Positive changes in the quality of life

For the study, the researchers found positive changes in blood values associated with weight loss. The reflection of the participants on the clear improvement of their quality of life was yet another positive outcome of the study.

At the beginning of the study, only 38% of the participants stated that their quality of life was in no way restricted. The normal value in Germany is 75%. . After one year, their quality of life had improved significantly as 68% of the participants were now satisfied with their quality of life.
